About Chelsea

Chelsea Elizabeth Cameron-Horner is 25 years old and was born and raised and still resides in her beloved hometown of Osoyoos, British Columbia. A Fun fact Osoyoos is that it is home to Canada's only desert environment and as such has one of the most unique ecosystems in  Canada and is home to a number of wildlife and plants that are only found in the town.
Osoyoos also has Canada's warmest fresh water lakes and Chelsea Hopes she is able to bring Canada's Warmest welcome with her to Toronto.

Chelsea was previously an Osoyoos Princess in 2008 and was able to travel around BC visiting 5 of the 6 Provincial regions. Later Chelsea represented her community on a provincial level taking part in the British Columbia Ambassador Program in 2015.
Chelsea is honoured to represent her hometown for a third time on a National level during the Miss Canada Petite 2017 Pageant this summer as part of the Miss Canada Globe Productions.

Since being Diagnosed with a Rare Connective Tissue disorder Chelsea has taken an interest in Rare Diseases and in particular is an active part of Rare Disease Month raising awareness through social media and talking about her own medical condition and uploading the video to YouTube which has over 7000 views. Chelsea is also a member of Genetic Aortic Disorders Association Canada

Chelsea has a passion for fine arts including community theatre and has been a member of the local theatre group since 2008.  She also takes pride in being an active member of her community with memberships in South Okanagan Toastmasters, Osoyoos Arts Council & Osoyoos Historical society.

Chelsea loves and has a presence on social media - reaching over 1700 people through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat.
She was able to combine her love for social media as part of her duties as Vice President of Public Relations for South Okanagan Toastmasters Club 7791, a position she has held since 2015.

Chelsea has a love for self-development which was strongly influenced by attending different leadership based Summer camps for several summers as well as taking on leadership roles in school through Student parliament and being a founding member of her highschool's global awareness club.
She enjoys fostering positive self-growth which she feels is a never ending journey. She works on her own self-growth by reading self-help books, blogging about her goal setting methods and using things like Bullet Journals and Vision boards to help foster her own self-growth.
Chelsea would like to one day combine her love of Personal Development and combine it with her involvement on Social media to one day becoming a Life Coach offering and offering her help online.
Chelsea's passion for personal development and leadership translates easily to her career as a Nanny. She has been a nanny since 2012 and treasures watching their children she cares for growing up and takes pride in being a role model and positive influence to  the children.
No matter what come's her way Chelsea strives to remain cheerful and to see the positive things in each situation.
